ABOUT THE PRESENTERS – BKD LLP
Patricia Quintana-Perron, MBA, CPA, CHBC, CFP®, PFS
Patricia is a tax partner at BKD. She focuses on the tax and consulting needs of high-net-worth families and their closely held businesses and helps design and implement sophisticated wealth strategies. In practice for over 18 years, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of CPAs, as well as the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants, Financial Planning Association and San Antonio Estate Planners Council. Patricia holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University.
Nancy J. Foringer, managing consultant of BKD’s Forensics & Valuation Services division, has over 15 years’ experience providing business valuation and litigation support services. She has experience performing business valuations for estate and gift taxes, stock transactions, financial reporting, commercial and shareholder disputes, family limited partnerships, employee stock ownership plans, succession planning and financing. She leads the firm’s banking valuation practice. Nancy is a member of the American Society of Appraisers and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. An Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation, Nancy holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Northern Iowa.
Patrick S. Donehue is a tax partner with BKD. A CPA with over 30 years’ experience in tax and business consulting for medium-sized, closely held businesses, Pat provides specialized tax planning and compliance services and assistance in mergers and acquisitions for financial institutions. He also provides tax planning, business succession and exit strategies, state and local tax incentives and estate planning for manufacturers and distributors. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Pat holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University.
